Surprise!!!

Ray got his call-back today and he didn’t get the manager position because he didn’t have enough experience managing people…. BUT the lady was so impressed with him that she wants to hire him as an assistant manager at a Victoria Wine right down the road from our flat. She couldn’t officially offer him the position, so he’ll be meeting the manager of the store on Wednesday at noon and if the meeting goes well, the offer will be made and Ray is really excited about it.

So unless something terribly wrong happens on Wednesday, Ray has a new job as an assistant manager of Victoria Wine on Dalry Road, which will also train him for a management position when one opens up.

I was going to write a huge update, but maybe not right now. I just wanted to share this awesome news.
